Graceland!

Grant asked me what I wanted to see most on this trip..it had to be Graceland. After our wonderful lunch we headed down to Elvis Presley blvd. I kept thinking "This can't be right..the area was just soooo run down." We drove down to a huge parking area and Grant said, go find out about the tickets. I'll find a place to park. Tickets to just see the outside of the house were $45.00..so I thought I'll just get a picture of it and we can head on our way. Could not find the house! Seriously. Huge gates everywhere....As I was about to break down, my cute husband called my cell phone and said, "I am coming to get you..Graceland is right across the street!" I hop in the car..we drive across the street and park in a little turn off by the front gate. I hop out expecting to see..well...a huge mansion.....nope..Huge lawn, tiny home..but I can still say I was there!

yes..that's it!

The lawn was bigger than the house!

Texas and Oklahoma are very long states

What a trooper Grant is! He drove through the most boring spots, letting us nap..keeping us entertained...I couldn't do it without him!

Scout and Macen in the back...Bear is back there too, but he had his own spot....

Bosco kicked Macen out of the back seat...he wanted to look out the window!

Seriously...everything is oversized in Texas!

The Big Texan

Now THAT is a boot!

I truly believe that Texas is it's own country. They don't look to kindly on outsiders....and there was not one side that said "God Bless the USA" just "God Bless Texas" and if you sneeze, they say "God Texas you"

Everything's Bigger in Texas

Grant HAD to stop at this place. He wanted to try and eat the 72 oz steak..but we really didn't have the time.

Macen just kept saying.."Texas is toooooo HOT"
