Macen lost his first tooth today..Sept. 27th 2007

Macen lost his first tooth..I fed him lunch and he wanted to show me something he had in his hand..I thought it was Cheese!! A few minutes later, I heard Grant ask "Macen..did you lose a tooth?" Sure enough.. my son lost a tooth on a sandwich! Wow!
I know I know..Gross picture, but we want you all to feel like you were here when it happened. He's very excited to go to bed because the "molenator" is coming!!! (if you don't know who that is, you need to watch the Santa Clause 2)

Fallon's Labor Day parade

This is the "Mighty Machines" and the "Bumblebees" We all rode together in the parade.. We had two extra boys on the truck with us because their coaches weren't there..It was all good...the more the merrier I always say!
Halfway up the parade route...The boys were getting a little hot and a little bored!
We're almost done! It was a great parade and we had so much fun. I think this was one of the best holiday weekends ever!

Happy Labor Day!

Hello all! What a great holiday weekend! We've had soooooo much fun. Fallon isn't the most exciting place in the world, but it is certainly one of the most fun! This weekend is the "Hearts of Gold" cantalope festival. Fallon is actually known for it's cantalope. It's smaller than store bought, and a lot juicier. I wish you could all be here to try it!
Anyway, We went to the festival on Saturday and had a great time.Grant worked at the festival last year so he didn't really get to enjoy it, so this year we took it ALL in! We were dead tired when we got home, but it was worth every minute of it! I took a lot of pictures, and I posted the best of them. Enjoy them, and know that we miss you all so very much. (John and Sara, I can't wait to get back to Virginia..Busch Gardens is going to be AWESOME)

Labor Day weekend

This is my favorite weekend of the year! It's the annual "Heart Of Gold" cantaloupe festival here in Fallon. Lots of food, lots of crafts, lots of everything! They have a little carnival set up, and , of course, Macen loves it! He's big enough this year to ride most of the rides. He went with Daddy on his very first roller coaster (not big, but it's a start...Busch Gardens here we come!) He got to go through the glass house by himself. He only got stuck a few times. His favorite ride was...you guessed it..the big slide! He went down with daddy the first time, then decided he could do it himself..He climbed up the long stairway with his mat under his arm and went down two more times...What a kid!
