As you will all read in the following posts, Pioneer Day is a special day for those of us in the LDS church. It's a day that marks an incredible journey that our ancestors took to find a place in this world to freely worship. They had been beaten, robbed, family members killed, and run out of every town they had lived. They kept faith alive and journeyed into the unknown. Along the way they faced starvation, sickness, and death..but they didn't give up. I am in awe of the sacrifices made by members of my faith. I don't think I would have made it. So I honor them today, and say Thank you!
