So..Let me tell you a little about my Uncle Doug. He's my mom's brother..and a bit of a jokester (like my mom) Since it was my first time in the Salt Lake Temple (I've wanted to go inside for as long as I can remember) he and my brother Bill were giving me bits of trivia. I, of course, am very gullable. I've fallen for many of my Uncle Doug's "stories" so I now make him prove them all to me. He mentioned the story of Temple Square. Brigham Young looked out on the valley of Salt Lake, and chose the spot for the Temple. He put his mark on one corner and the Temple was started. Here is the "Mark" I made my uncle pose just in case he was pulling my leg...
