The Brownies!

I fixed dinner one night, and made brownies for dessert. It's Caufield tradition that Macen lick the bowl and spoon!
He LOVES brownies!
He really gets in to it!

One of Grant's fishing trips!

Here's my mighty fisherman at the stream. He got a beautiful fish...He sent it back to the water!
Here's Grant with a VERY excited fish!
Seriously, there are fishing holes everywhere! Grant crossed the stream, while I found a little island that I could read...Life doesn't get much better than that!

A Little Trip!

On the 4 wheeler ride on Thursday, my parents took us to the very top of on of the mountains surrounding the property.. Though I didn't get pictures of all of the beautiful sights, I did manage to get a picture of one of the MANY deer that we saw that day! I also wish I had gotten af a picture of the "enchanted forest" we got to wander through. Honestly, I have never seen anything so amazing! An entire forest of Quakies! Macen, Mom, and I nicknamed it "Tarabithia" I hope to visit it again soon! It was one of the most fantastic rides! Thanks Mom and Dad!

The Thursday ride

On Thursday, my parents escorted us on a 4-wheeler ride on the other side on the mountain. It was so beautiful! Here's a picture of a cactus..The red is so bright!
Here's a look down at the lake.
Another view. The sky seems to go on forever!

Wednesday afternoon at the Lake

We decided to have a picnic down at the lake. Here's my mom, Macen and Grant.
The water was COLD, but Macen didn't seem to mind!
Bear and Scout chased a tennis ball into the lake for an hour! They were cold, wet, and tired by the time we went back to the property!

At the top!

Here's Grant and Macen at the top of the mountain. Yankee Meadows is below!
Some jokster put a phone on a tree at the top of the mountain..so I, of course, had to try it.
Here's a bike path that I intend to try next time we go up!

The 4 wheeler ride to the top

On our way up the mountain you pass by a beautiful meadow. If I had the chance, this would be MY homestead!
Notice how the quakies bend over the path? It's like they bow down to you!
This is the lush green that you see all the way up. We saw several deer and an Elk just grazing in grass like this!

The 4-Wheeler Ride

Grant, Macen and I took a 4 wheeler ride on Wednesday. We rode up to the top of one mountain to look down on Yankee Meadows. It was breath-taking!
Here's another view from the top!
Can you even believe that some place like this exists?

Coming home from the Lake

This is the view coming off the mountain from Brian Head Ski resort, and Cedar Breaks. I can't even begin to describe the beauty of Southern Utah. It's something everyone should see for themselves.
Another View coming off the mountain...
One more....
