da plane! da plane!

Our friends from Boise were here this weekend. Danyelle had a softball tournement in Reno. Her team came in 6th out of something like 40 teams! Way to go! Grant got permission to take them to our airfield so they could get a up close and personal look at the Navy planes we keep around here. We can't take pictures of the cockpit, but they got to check one out. They are standing in front of the F5. These are amazing machines. When any of you get a chance to visit us, we'll try to get a tour for you!

Rick and Linda's Property

This is my in-laws new property...which will one day soon have a home on it. They got the rock yesterday. I need to get a picture of the property. It's very beautiful and very secluded!

The mighty hunter returns! (emptyhanded)

Grant got home this afternoon. YEAH! He looks awesome! (He looks a little tired too) He had a great time and can't wait till next year. He was up in Idaho. He loves to go home. I have a feeling that when he retires from the Navy we'll be in Idaho. (That's all good for me..It's a pretty nice place to be) He, his best friend Jeremy, his mom and dad braved a lot of harsh weather this year. I think it either rained or snowed (or did both) almost every day. I know I couldn't have handled it.. I'm too much of a wimp. Anyway, he's home safe and sound. Thanks again to Rick and Linda for being so great. We love you guys and we'll see you soon!

Grant's hunting trip

Day one..SNOW! It had been raining the night before and the mighty hunters woke up to snow on everything!
